Rebecca and Gene – Summergrove Estate Wedding Photography

Rebecca and Gene’s Summergrove Estate Wedding Photography brought us to the multi-award winner venue located in the Tweed Coast hinterland! Top this off with another Grace Loves Lace dress and Tweed Banora flowers… and we are in photography heaven…

Rebecca shared some of her personal insight to her Wedding experience:

Why did you choose to hold your celebration now?

Gene and I started to date on the 10th of August. Three years later we bought our first house on that same date. We knew that our five year anniversary had to be our wedding date!

What were your favourite moments of the day?

My favourite moment of the day was seeing Gene’s facial expression when he saw me walking down the alter, and the speeches were a real highlight.

What was the most stressful part about planning your wedding?

Living a couple hours drive from the venue we found it hard to juggle work and organise vendors, times to meet, viewings etc.

What were your favourite wedding details (a special venue, a unique dress, a fun cake etc.)?

I loved the work our florist did. She created the most beautiful bouquets and they were everything I wanted. We loved our wedding venue booking it before viewing anywhere else. The views are absolutely breathtaking!

Could you share a letter to your spouse of a few lines from your vows

You are my person, my love, my life and after all you are my wonder all.

Your experience working with Sunlit Studios

Sunlit knew exactly where to stand for the best photos during the day. We loved having them apart of our day!

Tips for other brides

Listen to other people’s advice, but always do what you and your husband want to do. You will never be disappointed by following your heart.
