High school sweethearts Tamika and Luke’s love story, which began long before the wedding bells, culminated in a joyous wedding celebration in the picturesque Sunshine Coast hinterland!
The stage was set at Tiffanys Maleny, a venue renowned for its elegance and charm, where Tamika and Luke exchanged vows in a charming ceremony surrounded by their nearest and dearest.
The highlight of their day? That magical moment during the ceremony entrance when Tamika and Luke locked eyes, all dressed up to the nines, as “Dream a Little Dream of Me” played. Tamika stunned in a gown from White Lily Couture, her hair and makeup flawlessly styled by Allure Bridal Stylists, while Luke looked sharp in his attire from Connor.
Adding a unique touch to the ceremony, Luna the Owl – from Raptorvision – swooped in to deliver the rings, landing gracefully on Luke’s arm—a moment that left everyone in awe and will be etched in their memories forever!
After saying their “I dos,” Tamika and Luke took some time for wedding party and couple photos around the stunning grounds of Tiffanys Maleny Chapel, capturing memories that they will cherish for a lifetime. The day continued with a relaxed, laughter-filled reception at the Maleny Hotel, surrounded by their closest friends and family.
As the day drew to a close, the newlyweds headed to “On the View” mountain location for a stunning sunset photoshoot, with the iconic Glass House Mountains providing a breathtaking backdrop. Against the canvas of sweeping clouds and pastel hues, Tamika and Luke took some time, just for them (and our team 😉) to take it all in and celebrate their official union. A perfect ending to their perfect day.
Their wedding wasn’t just a celebration of love, but a testament to the enduring bond they’ve shared since their high school days. Surrounded by loved ones and the stunning beauty of Maleny, Tamika and Luke’s wedding day was a reflection of the love and joy that will continue to guide them on their journey together.

How did the two of you first meet?
We met in high school
When did you decide that you would be together forever? Did any particular moment/s solidify this?
We have been together for 10+ years, the moments are never ending
How did your proposal play out?
Luke took me for a surprise trip to Rainbow Beach (where we spread my mums ashes 11 years ago) and he proposed to me in the exact spot we spread my mums ashes, so she could be there for the proposal too, as he knew that ment alot to me!
What is your favourite couple activity?
Cooking together
What is unique about your partner’s personality that makes you love them?
Our weird personalities are pretty much the same
What does your Wedding means to you?
Completion of each other and so much happiness!
Your favourite moment of the day was and what you were thinking at that time?
The ceremony entrance was both our favourite part of the day! We never get to see each other all dressed up so it was an amazing moment when we locked eyes for the first time that day 😍
What are your favourite wedding details?
The Raptorvision owl that delivered the rings!
Considering your future together, what are you looking forward to the most?
Having kids, buying a house and spending the rest of our lives together
How did your bridal party or parents support you on your day?
In every way possible! They went above and beyond for us!
Top 3 Tips for other couples?
1. Check list! (You will forget something on the day!) 2. Don’t allocate yourself any jobs for the day, YOU WILL NOT GET TIME! 3. Make sure you eat before dinner time haha
