Ceyran and Jackson’s wedding at Gabbinbar Homestead in Toowoomba was a masterclass in timeless elegance and thoughtful detail. Set against the backdrop of one of Queensland’s most historic estates, their day unfolded like a dream. It was a joy to be their Gabbinbar Wedding Photographer.
A Morning of Calm and Connection
The day began with the bridal party preparing in Gabbinbar’s luxurious Retreat—a private suite featuring large sash windows, elegant mirrors, and a secluded verandah, offering a serene space for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready. A special moment being the “First Look” with the bridesmaids seeing Ceyran all dressed. The reactions are always emotional, heart felt and just so sweet! We then took some time to photograph Ceyran – making the most of an elegant bride and the luxury of the Retreat.
Meanwhile, Jackson and his groomsmen found a quiet moment in the Library, a refined space within the homestead that provided a perfect setting for reflection, camaraderie and a drink before the ceremony. Taking a moment to pin their boutonnieres and place their signature “Akubra” hats.
Thoughtful Details and Elegant Touches
Every element of Ceyran and Jackson’s wedding was meticulously considered. Touches of blue were woven throughout the styling, with Ceyran’s shoes serving as her “something blue” and a cherished detail of the day. The florals, crafted by Emunah Events, added a layer of sophistication and natural beauty to the celebration. Complementing her ensemble, Ceyran wore a stunning heirloom pearl necklace, adding a sentimental and timeless touch to her bridal look.
A Ceremony Under the Chandeliers
Officiated by Married by Jake – The couple exchanged vows in Gabbinbar’s Pavilion, an exquisite ceremony space featuring a soaring white cathedral ceiling and adorned with three Austrian crystal chandeliers. A floral-laden arbour framed the ceremony, enhancing the romantic ambiance of the setting.
The ceremony began with a light-hearted moment as the “beer boys” lead the procession, offering the guests a refreshment! An great opportunity to provide some laughs and ease any nerves (at least for a moment). And once Jackson sighted beautiful Ceyran his emotions had everyone feeling the love.
A Reception to Remember
The reception was held in Gabbinbar’s Conservatory, a light-filled space adorned with a striking glass ceiling and elegant chandeliers. The room was transformed with fairy lights, candles, and lush florals, creating an enchanting atmosphere that perfectly matched the couple’s vision. As the evening progressed, guests danced in the adjoining Ballroom, adding a touch of grandeur to the festivities.
Ceyran and Jackson’s wedding was a beautiful blend of elegance, tradition, and personal touches, all set within the stunning surroundings of Gabbinbar. The estate’s historic homestead, manicured gardens, and exceptional service ensured their day was picturesque, seamless and unforgettable.
