How was your Wedding Day experience?
It was amazing, we enjoyed every bit of our big day
Your favourite moment of the day was and what you were thinking at that time?
For me it was when Ravi had tears in his eyes as I made my bridal entrance and also as I shared my vows to him
Favourite part of your or your spouses vows or speech?
We felt God’s presence – His peace & joy at the wedding, and that was the most important & our favourite part
Was there a special moment of connection you experienced with any of your guests, family or friends?
We really enjoyed the prewedding video gifted to us by our very talented friend, the best man Bronson. We also felt touched & moved by the speeches of Roanee’s dad, maid of honour and best man.
Considering your future together, what are you looking forward to the most?
We’re looking forward to starting family in a godly way, with love, grace & forgiveness.
What are your favourite wedding details (the venue, a unique dress, a fun cake etc.)?
The dances in Nepalese songs, adding cultural aspect to the wedding, not forgetting our roots!
Sanu – I stand here today grateful for the love we share. From your cheerful spirit and simple choices to the way you have brought joy and peace into my life. I love your heart for our pets, your gift for creating moments of rest and laughter, and the comfort of calling you my home. With Jesus at the centre of our relationship, I promise to share this journey with you to forgive quickly, to pray with you, to laugh with you and walk beside you through blessings and challenges alike. Today and always, I vow to love you truly and faithfully.
Kalu – From the moment I got to know you, it didn’t take long for me to realize I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you. I saw glimpses of your kind & generous heart – in the way you treated your friends, and even strangers – and I couldn’t help but wonder: If this is how he treats others, how much more love must he have for his own? I dreamt of building a beautiful home with you and becoming part of your family. I still remember your very first gift to me – that little bonsai plant. And how bad I felt when I couldn’t keep it alive… probably because I overwatered it. For a moment, I honestly thought, “Was this a test to see if I’d make a good housewife?” I even got worried you might leave me over a dead plant! But thankfully, Golo and Moja are still alive – so I must be doing something right. Looking back now, I see so clearly how God was orchestrating our story long before we even knew it. I didn’t fall in love with you just because you’re handsome – though you are – but because of your heart. A heart of gold. A heart that I truly believe is designed to pursue God, just like King David – a man after God’s own heart. For that, I thank God every single day. I know there will be moments when we disagree or even disappoint each other as no marriage is perfect BUT I know that we can rely on God who is perfect. I promise to walk with you in humility and grace. I will continue to learn and submit to you as the Church submits to Christ – not out of obligation, but out of love. Because I trust your leadership, and even more, I trust the God within you. Thank you for the grace you’ve shown me when I didn’t deserve it. Thank you for covering us in prayer, especially on the days I couldn’t bring myself to pray. Your faith strengthens mine, and I’m so grateful to begin this journey with you, this time with God truly at the centre of our marriage. I look forward with hope to the wonderful days we’ll share here on earth – and to the eternal life we have in Christ. May Jesus be the unshakable foundation of our marriage. May we always seek to honour and love one another the way He first loved us. I feel blessed that we get to do life together. And I can’t wait to pursue the good works God has prepared for us to accomplish as one. Together, we will build a life that glorifies the lord- a home filled with love, laughter, forgiveness & grace. Bible says in Ecclesiastes 4:12 “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not easily broken.” With Christ at the centre of our marriage, I give you all of me freely, faithfully & forever. This is my sacred vow to you. I love you.
