Ellie and Matthew began their wedding day with excitement, each getting ready with their respective parties. Ellie looked absolutely stunning, thanks to the talented Amanda Higl who styled her hair and makeup, perfectly complementing her breathtaking gown designed by Madi Lane from LUV Bridal. The boys, looking dapper in Ferrari Formalwear, couldn’t wait for the day’s festivities. One of the most touching moments came when Ellie and Matthew met at the Cellar Door for a first look before the ceremony. Seeing each other for the first time, both of them and the bridesmaids couldn’t help but get emotional, setting the tone for a day filled with love and heartfelt moments.
The celebrations kicked off with mostly clear skies and sunshine, perfect for their romantic ceremony at Preston Peak’s “Pavilion Tree” – its sprawling branches and serene ambiance, made for a breathtaking setting. The wedding procession was lead by their “Flower Man”, who gracefully tossed petals into the air to welcome the bride and her bridesmaids. One of the day’s most heartwarming moments was the inclusion of their beloved dog, Luna, as an honorary flower girl. Dressed in an adorable floral collar, Luna joined the bridesmaids gliding down the aisle, bringing smiles and charming all the guests. Surrounded by lush greenery and panoramic views, Ellie and Matthew exchanged vows in front of family and friends. Are there any special stories surrounding your engagement, proposal or wedding details that are unique and special to you?
Matt proposed to me at the QPAC green on our 9 year anniversary. The theatre is such a special place to me. Theatre is my happy place and we have had so many incredible memories watching shows. It was also the place that Matt first said I love you to me many many years ago.
Who at your Wedding will be most likely crying? Why is this person special to you?
hmm hard question. My bridesmaids or Matt’s Mum Michelle.
What are your favourite wedding details?
Luna our puppy dog being our flower girl, the beautiful view of the venue, super fun dance floor outside.
