Grace and Steven’s Sunshine Coast Hinterland Wedding
In Spring of 2020, we had the honour of being the Maleny Hotel Wedding Photographer for Grace and Steven for their gorgeous and elegant wedding in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. It was a truly beautiful day filled with lots of love, laughter and emotion.
Grace and Steven say they wanted a wedding venue ‘close to heart and home’. They particularly loved the interesting ceremony spot next to the creek they saw at Maleny Hotel. One tip Grace has for other Brides-to-be… “Don’t plan things based on what you should do. Do what’s meaningful to you and forget about the rest”.
One of the great things about Maleny Hotel is the ability to utilise the whole venue – from getting ready in the on site luxurious 4 bedroom house accommodation, ceremony in the gardens and your reception in the Bistro. While Steven was suiting up with his Dad, not far away, Grace was preparing with her Mum. The two then met to say their vows in the garden by the Obi Obi creek surrounded by their dearest friends and family!
After taking some photos on site, we headed to the famous ‘One Tree Hill’ location for further couple photos. This spot is undoubtedly breathtaking with the stunning views of the Glass House Mountains and those amazing colours in the sky as the sun sets 👌 The perfect backdrop to create wedding art full of romance!
Grace and Steven then made their grand entrance as Husband and Wife back at their reception in the Bistro, celebrating into the evening with their loved ones. A wonderful day all round!
