It’s no secret that we have a special passion for destination weddings, so we were all too happy to capture Daydream Island Resort Wedding Photography for Mark and Ally!
Daydream Island is a privately owned resort, accessible only by ferry in the Whitsundays. It’s everything you think of when you hear ‘Whitsundays’ – tropical warm weather, bright aqua water and beautiful beaches.
Mark and Ally’s stunning destination wedding began on a beautiful clear day, surrounded by their closest friends, family and their own children. We love when the couples’ own children are involved, it makes pretty much every part of the day that extra special and memorable!
Ally was truly remarkable with her bold fuchsia lipstick, fishtail braid, split dress and floral crown. Talk about serious style!
The wedding ceremony at Lover’s Cove was the perfect backdrop for Mark and Ally’s intimate vows. With their children clinging on to their sides and waves crashing up behind them, it was a really special celebration of their love and family.
We headed around the island by buggy to capture the bridal party and couple photographs to make the most of the stunning sunset and beach views. The open-air reception was set up at Lover’s Cove on the deck, which added such amazing atmosphere and an really exclusive feel to the event. With waves crashing up and the beach all to themselves, the guests partied into the night in perfectly crisp sea air.
