Only once a year do we have the opportunity to go photograph in the stunning sunflower fields near Toowoomba and Allora! For us, it’s a breath of fresh air to shoot in a field of gorgeous yellow flowers as Brisbane and the Gold Coast are so flower-less! We were particularly stoked when our clients Greg and Anna decided to have Sunflower Maternity Photography Brisbane there – because if you’ve seen their engagement, Bryon Bay Horizon Wedding or Anna’s 30th beauty portrait, you’ll know just how much the camera loves these too!
Pulling up to the fields is a breath-taking experience all on it’s own. Every year the fields in bloom change and finding the field that is perfectly positioned with the sun, in full gorgeous bloom, is like hitting the photography jackpot! Then to be blessed with incredibly dramatic skies, we knew this shoot was going to be particularly stunning. The clouds literally gave us a glorious five minute window through which the orange sunset came streaming through – and we made sure we made the most of every second!
Anna and Greg were so excited to meet their little girl and had no problem spending the entire hour connecting with their baby and celebrating the changes about to come to their family. We loved every minute and the sunflowers seems to be the perfect representation of the happiness their little girl was already bringing into their lives!
