Laura and Laurence’s Maleny Wedding ~
When you turn up at the first location, you can tell very quickly what the “vibe” is going to be. When we arrived, everyone was relaxed, ready, laughing non-stop and it set the stage for the entire day.
We enjoyed all the in-jokes and getting to be a part of them. Laurence had his childhood toy greet Laura at the gate of Maleny Manor, which we then ran out to rescue as a rain shower came over, much to everyone’s delight.
The loft at Maleny Manor was where we met the ladies who were enjoying a laugh and a glass of bubbly. Laura was the complete picture of elegance, grace and beauty, with her custom made gown by Kait Grace Studio and florals by Mondo Floral Designs. The loft ticked all the boxes for an amazing getting ready location ~ light filled, high ceilings, architectural. It perfectly suited Laura’s elegance and her mood was as serene and relaxed as it shows in the photos.
Laura and Laurence exchanged beautiful heartfelt vows at Maleny Manor’s ‘Pavilion’, a stunning spot with breath-taking views back to Mount Coolum. We love that they gave the guests a dedicated chance to take photos – but then could put their devices away and be fully present.
After onsite group and wedding party photos, we took the newly married couple to our favourite Maleny location – ‘On the View’, to capture and celebrate just the two of them! They were just a lovely couple to photograph – so natural and easy going. They even trusted us to stay back for some latern photographs ~ giving us room to create some of our favourite Maleny photographs against the dusk sky and the Mountain views.
The day finishing back at Maleny Manor with a night of fun, dancing and dinner with their loved ones!
