What does your Wedding means to you?
The first day of our marriage, a commitment to a life full of love together. A once in a lifetime fairy tale day.
Your favourite moment of the day was and what you were thinking at that time?
The moment the doors to the chapel opened and Pablo and I saw each other standing at the opposite ends of the aisle. Pablo was trying to not cry and was just overwhelmed with the emotions of the moment. My breath was just taken away, to see him standing at the front of the chapel waiting for me. Then on top of that, seeing the chapel set up and all our guests all together for the first time. It was amazing to finally be in the moment I had looked forward to for so long. I was also trying not to cry, though I wasn’t so successful.
Favourite part of your or your spouses vows or speech?
Shayna – One of my favorite parts of Pablo’s vows is his promise of 3 kisses in a row as many times as he can get away with it.
What are your favourite wedding details?
For Pablo, it was everything combined, as he sees it all together, not as one thing but a whole picture. Everything was perfect so he loved it all as it was. He also really enjoyed the “shoe” game that had the puppets. I loved the chapel, the glass house mountains, the table settings, the energy the photo booth generated. The attire of our whole bridal party as well as my parents and all of our hair and makeup (for the females).
Top 3 Tips for other couples?
1 – the day flies by so fast. Make a conscious effort to take it in and appreciate it while it is happening. 2 – Come your wedding day (if not the days before) – Relax, what happens, happens, don’t let it get you down or stress you. It is now time to stop planning and just enjoy the time.
