Laura and James’ selection of a Tamborine Mountain Albert River Wines Wedding suited them perfectly!
If you don’t believe me, you should read about how they met:
“We were both working on Brunette Downs, an outback cattle station in the Northern Territory. He was a Jackaroo at the time and I was a governess, teaching children through school of the air. We knew of each other but didn’t really know each other. It was a 12,000 square kilometre station and had a lot of staff.
However, all that changed at the Camooweal Campdraft in June of 2012. Both of us remember the exact moment we caught each others eye. I had been into Mount Isa with the Jillaroos and had got myself all decked out in RM Williams jeans, Justin boots, a wrangler shirt and proper cowboy hat in a vain attempt to lose my “city girl” reputation. I had just moved from teaching in central London and at that stage I was famous for spewing up after seeing dehorning for the first time. 4 and a half years later, a few station hops and some long distance love including a 6 month trans Tasman stint thrown in and here we are and we couldn’t be happier.”
Living in Darwin made coordinating this Wedding a little tricky, but they proved how organised they are, particularly when they delivered an action-packed choreographed dance routine at their reception.
Congratulations Laura and James!
