After meeting Xelinne and Mark at the recent ‘Your Local Wedding Guide‘ Bridal Expo, we arranged an engagement session for them to trial ‘The Sunlit Experience’. As an experienced GoldCoast Paddock Engagement Photographer, we met this lovely couple at our favourite country spot in Ormeau to work our magic 😉
Lush green grass and the warm sun setting over the hills…. what more can we ask for? Perhaps an in love couple that are easy going and willing to enjoy being photographed. Xelinne and Mark definiety made our job easy and it was a great engagement session!
Their Story …
Xelinne and mark met at Church and after only one month of dating, they were both already falling in love with one another. “We just knew it was forever!!” We asked them about the proposal and you just have to read how Mark surprised Xelinne….
“On the night of our anniversary after dinner, he pretended he forgot something so we drove around for a bit and then he made me put on a blind fold. He took me to the park, outside the place we first met. It was dark and I had 3 lights and separate cameras facing me. He made me watch a video on an ipad which was sat on a stand, the video was videos of us through out our relationship. And then the video told me to turn around. He was at the end of the white carpet under a white arbour he made, fairy lights and white mesh sheets – Aladdin themed. He pulled the ring out of a gold genie lamp and that’s when he proposed. Meanwhile a whole new world was playing in the background… our families were hiding in the bushes. Magical!”
