Q+A with the couple
How did the two of you first meet?
Christian Connection (online dating site)
When did you first tell each other that you loved them? Was it at the same time?
Dana told me first! It was when I was up in Cairns visiting her. I had been feeling it for a while too, and said it back straight away!
What is your favourite memory of your courtship?
All of the special little moments that we spend together
How did your proposal play out?
I told Dana to pack her bags for a surprise trip, and we travelled up to Maleny (one of our favourite spots). We had lunch together, and spent time together at our cabin in the woods. I proposed at a secluded spot in the Botanical Gardens at sunset, and it was a very sweet and emotional moment.
What is your favourite couple activity?
Travelling and trying new foods
What is unique about your partner’s personality that makes you love them?
Morgan is one of the most intelligent, kind and warm people that I have ever met. He makes me make sense, I feel perfectly understood. Dana is everything I ever wanted in a partner, and so much more. She always knows how to comfort me when I’m sad, and how to join me in joy and laughter when we’re happy. She is the perfect mix of light-hearted and serious, and she’s perfect for me.
Considering your future together, what are you looking forward to the most?
Building a house, travelling overseas, and enjoying every moment together
