Ashlea and Tim – wow what a story these two share! They had to reschedule their original Wedding date due to severe back pain suffered by Tim, as well as other health concerns in the family. Perhaps Tim’s sore back was a blessing in disguise on their day though. A much needed break throughout the photographs provided an opportunity for them to sit and just soak in what had just happened an hour earlier.
The Story
Tim and I met through a lady I worked with, who had known Tim for a very long time. She was trying to set me up with her Brother in law, Tim’s best friend. Needless to say it wasn’t long before Tim had been in contact with me, and after a few months of chatting and deciding we would catch up, our friendship soon turned into something that neither of us were wanting or thought we were ready for. When you are younger everyone says ‘it will happen when you least expect it’, when you aren’t even looking’ – that definitely rings true for us. I knew Tim was the one for me when I discovered we both had a low tolerance level for overly drunk people.
Our proposal happened after 7 years together, we had already picked the ring together, and I knew he had it, however he proceeded to spend most of the day pretending like he was about to propose which just put me in constant fits of hysterical nervous laughing, until finally he proposed! It couldn’t of been more perfect us together at home with our fur-babies!
